An activity that includes producing a Business Process Model (BPM) that shows the business processes needed to provide the required functionality, usually between inputs and outputs.
This is a modeling activity that is not part of Data Modeling TDM. The TDM activities that precede this one insures of its stability and provides very high confidence in meeting the business objectives. The Views that are created from the Forms reduce the amount of program coding necessary to the application construction. Consequently any Business Process Modeling activity done in tandem with TDM activities should design their process around Forms or Logical Views instead of Entities as the former a) will be specified ahead of time and b) encapsulate the latter.
